Born in the South but raised in the Northwest since I was two years old. The Northwest is undeniably beautiful, but it never quite felt like home to me.

Raised in a close-knit, Southern Baptist family, I am fortunate to have two younger sisters and a younger brother. I am also a proud mother, auntie, and grandmother to the most wonderful people, who continue to fill my heart with immense happiness and gratitude.

I am an overthinker and a highly empathetic person, which means I tend to feel everything around me with great intensity and depth. This sensitivity allows me to connect with others on a meaningful level, but it can also be quite overwhelming at times. I absolutely love writing stories, where I can let my creativity run wild, and I find myself exploring different worlds and characters in both playful and imaginative ways.

My roots are German and Irish, making me outgoing, friendly, with a fiery yet quick-to-apologize side.

I have always felt this overwhelming and often undeniable desire to nurture and help others. Frankly, I sometimes think I missed my true calling in life and should have become a therapist or an advocate of some sort. Instead, I made human resources my career, so in a way, I get to play the roles of therapist and advocate from time to time, lending a listening ear and a helping hand to those who need it.

Starting my website and sharing my personal experiences is completely out of my comfort zone as I am definitely your classic introvert when it comes to expressing my feelings. However, if my stories and insights can help even just one person, it will be worth it. Perhaps, in turn, someone sharing their own experience could help me grow and learn in ways I never anticipated.

We shall see where this goes, won’t we? Nonetheless, I am both excited and a bit nervous to take this bold step forward. Who knows where this journey will lead me? The possibilities are endless, and I can hardly wait to discover what lies ahead!
